Giant Clam
The
giant clam is the largest immobile mollusk in the world. They are most commonly
found in the warm waters of the South Pacific and Indian Oceans anchored to the
coral reefs. Giant clams grow to such enormous sizes due to the constant
consuming of food produced by the algae that live on the giant clams.
